Gene Wang, D.M.D.

My name is Gene Wang. I was born in Urbana, Illinois and then spent the majority of my childhood in the suburbs of Philadelphia. After high school, I moved to the other side of Pennsylvania to attend the University of Pittsburgh for my undergraduate studies and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Psychology. After completing my Bachelor’s degree, I entered the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and earned my doctoral degree in dentistry.

Following graduation, I continued my dental training in Tacoma, Washington by completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry through NYU Langone Health. During this year of residency, I worked at a Community Health Care center serving the greater Tacoma community.

I am a member of the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry.

Outside of dentistry, I am quite active with my church and enjoy playing and watching basketball. I also enjoy hiking through Washington’s beautiful trails and am always excited to try new and different restaurants.

I look forward to meeting those within the Plateau community and assisting them in achieving their best dental health.
